Today it has been announced by the government that the entire West Yorkshire region will be placed in Tier 3 which includes the Keighley constituency. Responding to the announcement Rebecca Poulsen, leader of the Bradford Conservative Councillors and District Councillor for the Worth Valley stated the following:
"It has just been announced that all of West Yorkshire will be entering Tier 3 from 2nd December. Details below of the restrictions that will apply.
It is a very difficult time particularly for certain sectors like hospitality and I will be trying to get the Government support that the Council are administering out as quickly as possible to those businesses that are eligible. The tiers are to be reviewed every 14 days. Please support the local businesses that are operating in different ways such as offering takeaways, as being in tier 3 is so difficult for them."
